Earning Academic Credit

The assignments in the academic internship course allowed me to recognize my strong and weak points, which I reflected on as I went into my internship each day. What I was really grateful for after my internship was how much of a glimpse of the real-world I received. Gaining that perspective while still in school is a great way to test out your skills and confirm your interests ahead of time, and even alert you to some things you don’t want to experience in the future.

If it wasn’t for the LAS 289 course, I do not think I would have continued my internship experience, it really challenged me to keep going.
