Exposure: People, Places, and Programs
The Exposure step in the Career Exploration Action Plan encourages you to delve into your major and explore your career interests further through people, places, and programs. Gather insight by being curious, staying proactive, connecting with peers and alumni and learning from others.
Do not compare yourself to others if you do not know what you want to do right now; college is the best place to explore effectively. When I say effectively, I mean actually considering a major and taking a course if necessary or speaking to an advisor or upperclassman about a major or class. When you do finally choose a major, be sure that you love it and it excites you like your favorite hobby.”
